Affetti Pumps, established by Giuseppe Affetti, starts his activity at the middle of sixties as industrial plant producer in the field of corrosive liquids. Thanks to the big experience gained at that time, it decided to start the production of plastic pumps, made in thermoplastic material and than magnetic-drive pumps.
From that time the number of pumps increased as a consequence of the gained customers confidence. Step by step the company Affetti as been able to reach important market share both in Italy and in the export. At the end of eighties, the good work done from the technical office was very important to improve the product quality and the image of the company. It designed a new range of magnetical driven pumps and a range of DIN 24256 ISO 2858 horizontal pumps.
Affetti plastic pumps have been designed to support heavy working conditions in chemical zones, also where magnetic-drive pumps are absolutely needed: acid and bases concentrated, alcalin solutions or light acid, sea water, solvents, etc.
Different are the application fields of the pumps with magnetic drive, all of them with the demand to transfer chemical or special liquids: anti-pollution pumps, chemical, galvanic, pharmaceutical, gold and silver treatment pumps, metal surface treatment, sea water, textile, fertilizer and pesticide, desalination plants, automotive, aeronautic and many others are the most known applications fields.
Affetti company produces also polypropilene pumps with magnetic drive. At the present time the company has reached a high quality level, thanks to the internal quality control plan and also to the innovative pumps test station in condition to certify the pumps performances, up to 110 KW motor power. As consequence of the large technology innovation and the ability to produce strong and reliable pumps, Affetti is now one of the most appreciated firm in his sector.
